In this blog post, I will explain some issues I may have and some possible solutions for them. This will help me avoid any disaster in the future.

WEATHER

  • Problem: When my dad is grilling asado outside, bad weather like rain, wind, or cold can affect his cooking.

  • Solution: If it’s raining or too cold I am considering for my dad to cook the asado indoors on a grill pan or under a covered BBQ area. I can also check the weather forecast ahead of time and have a backup plan, like cooking inside if necessary.

TOO MUCH SMOKE

  • Problem: Sometimes the fire produces too much smoke, it can make the food taste burnt or bitter.

  • Solution: Me and my dad need to make sure the charcoal or gas for the grill is properly lit and not too damp. Keep the fire under control by adjusting the airflow and adding more charcoal or wood as needed.

MILANESA STICKING TO THE PAN

  • Problem: Sometimes, the milanesas can stick to the frying pan, making it difficult to flip them.

  • Solution: I need to make sure the oil is hot enough before adding the milanesas, and don’t move them around too much while they’re cooking and let them form a crispy crust before flipping.

BREAD CRUMBS GETTING TOO WET

  • Problem: If the breadcrumbs get too wet during the breading process, they may not crisp up when frying.

  • Solution: I have to make sure to dry the meat before breading it to avoid excess moisture. If the breadcrumbs get soggy, start fresh with a new layer of breadcrumbs.

All these are some problems I may face when I have to complete my magazine. I have taken notice of everything and also created solutions to help me avoid these disasters to have a good experience while doing this magazine.
