Magazine Name Ideas

In class we have been deciding names for our magazine. I decided to do a food magazine about Argentinian food. Down below are my ideas for my Argentinian food magazine.

• Sabores del Sur (Flavors of the South):

I thought this was really creative It’s simple and clear, letting readers know the magazine will focus on the delicious, local tastes of southern Argentina.

• Parrillada y Platos (BBQ and dishes):

This name focuses on two key parts of Argentina food BBQ (parrillada) and other dishes (platos). It’s straightforward and tells readers exactly what to expect great BBQ and a variety of traditional Argentina meals.

• Argentina on the plate:

This name connects the flavors of Argentina directly to the reader. It suggests that the magazine brings Argentina’s food right to the table, making it easy for anyone to enjoy.

• Fuego y Sazón (Fire & Flavor):

"Fuego" (fire) refers to the BBQ cooking style, and "sazón" (flavor) speaks to the bold, rich tastes in Argentina food. This name is energetic and exciting, capturing the passion of Argentina cooking.

• Asado y Mas:

 "Asado" is one of the most iconic elements of Argentina cuisine, referring to the traditional BBQ. "Más" (which means "more") suggests that the magazine will cover not only asado but also other delicious Argentina dishes. The name is simple, catchy, and directly communicates that the magazine will feature a variety of Argentina's rich traditions, with a special focus on BBQ.

FINAL CHOICE: Parrillada y Platos

I ended up choosing this name because I belive it's a great name for my Argentinian magazine which will cover the different types of foods in Argentinia. Also This name shows up sides of the types of food. "Parrillada" refers to the famous Argentinia barbecue which is a big part of the culture. The word "Platos" meaning "dishes" shows that the magazine will cover other traditional food.
